The player can also gather and create materials-from nature and the remnants of human civilization-to construct these necessary items. Objects in the world degrade through use, so the player has to search for or make new tools as the game progresses. The game is voxel-based (similar in some aspects to Minecraft, but with smooth terrain), allowing for simple building and destruction of objects in a physics-simulated environment (for example, building a structure with no support such as pillars and walls can lead to its collapse). As a survival game, the player character is in constant need of water and food for sustenance, as well as being vulnerable to injury and illness. The player can either spawn into a randomly generated world or the pre-set world of Navezgane, Arizona. The goal of 7 Days to Die is to survive as long as you can while fending off the elements and the hordes of zombies. The video with more explanation has since been removed by the developer. Though there is no real objective except surviving at this moment, the developers promised a dynamic storyline in the Kickstarter and stretch goals. The player is a survivor of the war who must survive by finding shelter, food and water, as well as scavenging supplies to fend off the numerous zombies (hinted to be the consequence of nuclear fallout, a new strain of flu, or both) that populate Navezgane. The game's events take place during a nuclear attack in the Third World War, which destroyed an extremely large part of the world, except for some areas such as the fictional county of Navezgane, Arizona. It is also available on Xbox One via Game Pass, but still unknown if it will return on PlayStation 4. In late 2022, The Fun Pimps announced that the game will be re-released on consoles targeting Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were released in 2016 through Telltale Publishing, but are no longer being developed. It was released through Early Access on Steam for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X on December 13, 2013, and for Linux on November 22, 2014. Keep them yes votes coming folks let’s get this baby Green lit in record time!.We’ve receive hundreds of questions in the last 4 days from our website and Kickstarter daily. And folks we’re trying our best to get back to everyone who has emailed us. Our community has spoken and we’re listening. That said all Alpha backers who pre-ordered the game, backed it through Paypal and or Kickstarter will get a registration and download email as close as humanly possible to August 16th barring a network server meltdown or losing my Fedora hat feather. On top of that we can’t even collect emails from Kickstarter backers until the campaign ends on the morning of August 15th. It takes a lot of work to set up a registration and download method for over ten thousand people. Many have emailed us or messaged us on the forums or through Kickstarter asking when will Alpha be available? First of all we’re working as hard as we can to get the game to all of you.We have a great announcement for all you!”
